Opening my professional art business in 1982, I have honed my skills by attending many workshops and lessons. I was known for my seascapes and palette knife paintings and exhibited in galleries in San Francisco and Capitola. I also apprenticed to two master artists for a period of six years. Recently, I attended a pastel workshop. I was totally smitten with the medium. In the last 18 months, my work was included in 25 juried national and international shows all over the United States including Salon International , Art League of Hilton Head, and Richeson "75" for "Pastels Only", "Small Works", "Still Life" and "Landscapes." I am currently in five galleries in three western states. I belong to seven different art organizations including OPA, PSA, and AANC. I was awarded the Judges Award for Paint the Parks "Top Mini 50" for 2009. My work was published in Richeson's books many times. Also, I am a "Signature" member of Plein Air Artists of Colorado and Pastel Society of Colorado.
"Having been born with a paint brush in my hand, I can only thank God for giving me the talent, time and means to be able to do what I truly love."
