Cathy Pearson is an artist who focuses on the many perspectives of nature. From a view of her neighbor’s backyard to a bee’s perspective of a flower, contemporary realism in bold colors has made her style easy to recognize. She has exhibited in National shows across the country and as a result, has become part of corporate, private and museum collections.
Cathy is a new Associate member of WAOW, but is also a member of other national art associations. She served as a board member and past president for NOAPS, where she is a signature member. She is also a member of NSPCA and a 2016 award winner in its national show in New York. Other credentials include AWA and ISAP.
In addition to her own painting, Cathy represents several artists as a broker, stemming from her years as the owner of 2 galleries. She will also be expanding the reach of her art via reproductions of her images through Modern Crowd.com, beginning in Summer 2017.
“Bold colors and super realism are my passions, because that’s what nature provides wherever I look. I try to share the awe of surroundings that so move my heart with the hope that my images will uplift the spirits of the viewer.”
Cathy is currently represented by the Eisele Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her work can be seen in June at the Salmagundi gallery in New York for the NSPCA show and in shows this fall sponsored by NOAPS, WAOW and AWA.
