Native American artist, Judith Durr, paints the illusion of texture and fabric.
In each of her still life oil paintings, she captures the emotion of people eager to reach out to feel the fabric of the rugs, the beads from the moccasins, the smoothness of the pottery, or pick the corn or jewelry from her unique oil paintings. Her distinctive style is unique with the use of the rugs as a consistent background element in her compositions. The artifacts in her paintings are from her extensive collection.

"There is no greater passion or gift than to be able to do something you truly love. I am fortunate and realize my passion is painting and the gift...there are people who appreciate my art work."
