Artist's Statement

After oil painting for many years, Dee redirected her creativity into sculpture. Currently she produces in bronze and a medium she developed and named LaminaProcess. Dee specializes in equine but occasionally generates sculptures of wildlife and children. She has created hundreds of sculptures and has won numerous awards.

"Prancing Stallion"

After watching an Arabian horse show in Santa Barbara, CA, a great desire to express the elegance of movement of the breed resulted in Prancing Stallion.
