Artist's Statement

Studying at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and then painting outdoors and working from imagination, I find learning about my subjects helps in interpreting my emotions in paint. Primarily an oil painter, I have been painting for thirty years.

Exhibits include the Mountain Oyster Invitational, Old West Museum Show,Oil Painters of America National Exhibit and my work has been in numerous galleries throughout the country. I am a signature member of International Plein Air Painters and a signature member of American Impressionist Society. My work is represented by the Bridges Gallery of Fine Art in St. Charles, Illinois.
