Artist's Statement

Linda is an award winning painter who has been the featured artist at several prestigious art shows. "Although I focus mainly on wildlife and equine subjects I also enjoypainting still life, and portraiture. When painting animals I most enjoy capturing that intimate expression that will best convey their temperament to the viewer. When painting other works I strive to tell the story behind the subject."

"Rodeo Veteran"

I was behind the chutes before a rodeo and this bull was just so personable and beautiful. They are such magnificant animals.

This horse was a purchase, by my freind, from the BLM wild horse rescue. He is a huge, sturdy, kind, horse with tons of personality. I couldn't resist setting him free in this painting.
